Scheduling Change
The Handwork Group will now meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at the Hagood Community Center.
Contact Carol C. if you have any questions.
Welcome
Whether you’re new to quilting or are a seasoned quilter, we encourage you to join us at one of our meetings to share the experience of quilting with a fun and exciting group of fellow quilters.
Come join us to see what all the fun is about!
Fostering The Art of Quilting
We believe that the best way to expand growth and knowledge of quilting is through education and fellowship.
Community Service
Our goal is to teach and further the art of quilting and to use our collective quilting skills to help the community. To that end, we contribute our time and skills by donating community quilts to various organizations in our area who are selected on an annual basis.
Monthly Guild Meetings
We hold monthly meetings to share techniques, designs, and projects. Our meetings are open to members and visitors. A variety of well-known speakers teach and inspire our members. We also encourage members to “Show N Tell” about their most recent projects.

2026 Pigeon Forge Quilt Show - Group Challenge
The 2026 quilt show that will be held in Pigeon Forge, TN, has announced a group challenge for guilds that are interested in participating. Several members from our guild have expressed an interest in doing so.
As a part of our countries’ 250th anniversary celebration, the group challenge is to submit quilts that reflect the spirit, stores, and legacy of our country.
The quilts should commemorate 250 years of shared heritage, resilience, and spirit. Each stitch pays tributes to generation passed, weaving together stories that span centuries.
Guild members that wish to participate in the 2026 Pigeon Forge Quilt Show Group Challenge should submit an online form letting us know you’d like to participate. This will help us as we move forward to know who’s participating and what sort of content matter they’ll be quilting.
